Dear Brothers,
I want to welcome you to the online home of Sigma Alpha Epsilon's Alumni
Association in New York City (SAENYC).
SAENYC is here to provide a forum for alumni of the
greatest fraternity in the world to enjoy the bonds of brotherhood as they work
and live in the greatest city in the world, New York City. Our goal is to help
you establish and enhance your personal, professional, and social networks in a
city where it is vital to know the right person, provide mentors for
undergraduates and young alumni in the area, and of course-have fun.
This website has been redesigned as a tool to bring alumni in the area
together. We are steadily building the alumni network in the association from
the more than 5,000 brothers in the New York Metro area. The wonderful
traditions of the New York alumni association remain intact and provide a solid
foundation for further development: the annual Yankees vs. Red Sox game and of
course, Founder's Day. New events are building on those and others to bolster
an ever-growing social calendar. In the future, look for additional educational
and philanthropic events that may also pique your interest.
At SAENYC, the bonds of brotherhood we all
enjoyed during our undergraduate years remain strong. We stay informed of the
many issues facing the larger fraternity on a local and international level and
will try to help you do the same. Brothers who live in, work in, or even visit
New York City are part of our constituency. Since New York is such a busy
place, and commitments can often conflict, we welcome all brothers, their
spouse/girlfriends, and other guests to all events, unless otherwise noted.
We invite you to sign up for our mailing list, join us at an event, or just
make a suggestion about something you would like to see from us in the future.
Please register with us to update your information so all alumni in New York
City can take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to network with Brothers
from across the Realm. We invite you to become a dues-paying member of the
Alumni Association to get discounts on events, and the first opportunity to
join some of our more restricted events. We look forward to seeing you in the
coming months.
Phi Alpha,
Robert Parker, MDPH '97
